HISTORIC COLD SPRING HARBOR

A revitalization of a historic home in the whaling town of Cold Spring Harbor. The project involved both decoration and architectural alterations with the intention of bringing the beauty of the home into the 21st century for a family with young children. There were a number of entertaining spaces of similar size so the goal was to give each room its own identity. We mounted trellis to the walls of the sunroom and added a hand painted diamond pattern to the floor of the dining room. Some favorite finds include an Indian daybed made into a coffee table for the family room and an inlaid marquetry side table found at Brimfield.
